Lakehead University Math Assistance
Center (LUMAC) provides a variety of free tutoring services for students
enrolled in math courses, mainly first year courses. Our services include drop-in center, online
tutoring, and scheduled mini workshops.
The drop-in center
provides independent and group study environment, free face-to-face tutoring
with undergraduate tutors, graduate students, or faculty. Students are encouraged to drop in any time
when our center is open, for help on math courses. Due to our limited
tutoring resources, priorities are given to the following courses: 1051,
1071, 1077, 1078, 1160, 1180 When tutors are not
so busy, they will also help students enrolled in other math courses listed
in the following table. |
